Gateway to Women's History

For 60 years, the College of Nursing at Texas Woman's University has been awarding degrees and preparing nurses for service and leadership roles. In the fall of 1954 the College of Nursing became one of six academic colleges at then Texas State College for Women (TSCW). In keeping with the TSCW mission, the nursing college was designed to provide students with the best science education and the finest professional training. To mark this historic milestone, the TWU College of Nursing will hosted a series of celebratory activities throughout the academic year 2014-15.
