Native of Cross Plains, Texas, Nabers was appointed Texas Railroad Commissioner (1993-1994) by Governor Ann Richards to fill the post left vacant by the resignation of Lena Guerrero. Nabers also served as the Texas Employment Commissioner from 1985-1993, founded the Texas Business Council, and started the Texas Business Today. |
